New UK luxury Car Company To Début At Frankfurt Motor Show

In addition to a raft of exciting new concept cars, the Frankfurt Motor Show has also been chosen as the location to début a new British car company.
London-based Eterniti Motors is set to reveal its first model, a luxury SUV crossover, at the iconic motor show later this month. Conceptual sketches of the new Eterniti Hemera have been revealed this week which show a sleek, prestige vehicle designed to rival popular models like the Porsche Cayenne and the Aston Martin Logonda.
Dubbed the first Super SUV, the new Hemera features a limousine-style cabin with twin reclining seats, iPads and a drinks chiller. Following its début at the show, production and deliveries for the new model are pencilled in for 2012.
With an estimated guide price of between £150,000 and £200,000 the new Hemera is expected to go into direct competition with luxury car manufacturer Bentley.
'The car will enter the very top end of the luxury SUV market, and will place an emphasis on bespoke values. There will be a very high level of specification even on base models, and Eterniti will offer almost unlimited scope for personal customisation,' a spokesperson told car magazine Auto Express.
Described as a 'boutique luxury car brand uniquely from London, offering bespoke specifications', little is currently known about the latest electric car manufacturer. Linked to a series of high profile names including former Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert and ex-Jaguar engineer, Eterniti has so far kept tight-lipped about the business itself, however it's thought a group of wealthy foreign investors 'with collective experience in high-level luxury and sports car brands, retailing, importing, car components, [and] motorsport' could be the driving force behind the brand.
